Open a saved matter to pick up exactly where you stopped, export one to a file to move it or share it, or clear out the ones you are done with.
Saved matters live in this browser only. They are never uploaded, which is what keeps your clients' figures private, but it also means clearing your browser data will remove them. Export any matter you want to keep, move to another computer, or hand to the team.
Click Export and your browser downloads a small JuraSum matter file. It lands in your Downloads folder like any other download, and it contains only the figures and names you typed into the tool, nothing else. Treat it like any other client document: move it into the matter's folder in your document system, and it is backed up the same way everything else there is.
On any computer (a new machine, a colleague's office, home) open this page, click Import a file, and pick the matter file. It appears in the list above; click Open and the tool loads with every figure exactly where you left it. Importing the same matter again simply updates it, so you will not end up with duplicates.
Email the file to a colleague or drop it in a shared folder, the way you would share any document. They import it on their machine the same way. One honest note: opening a matter into a tool is a Pro feature, so the person receiving it needs an access code on their browser.
Export anything you would mind losing. Saved matters live in this browser, so clearing browser data (or a computer swap) removes the list, and the exported file is what survives. And you do not need to rename anything: the file is named automatically after the tool and the matter, so it stays findable months later.
Because nothing is ever uploaded to us, the file moves only where you move it. Your client's figures stay inside your firm's own systems.
